This piece (and its sister piece 'Wildflowers I') is inspired by the fleeting beauty of nature we find all around us. When it comes to wildflowers, they may be in full bloom only for a brief moment. I love nature not only because of its beauty, but how it offers us a constant reminder that sometimes the most beautiful things in life aren't meant to last forever. This reminder gives us the freedom to slow down in life, and enjoy the blessings we have right here, right now.
